Protecting the integrity of the game, VCT utilizes a design that incorporates a transparent outer glass layer that allows players to see the bats inner construction. Located on the barrel of the bat, the clear layer is a window to the bats inner construction, allowing everyone to easily view the physical integrity of the bat. Easton's strained energy optimization patent makes delamination spots visible. When discolored delamination spots greater then 1" in size appear on the bat, the bat exceeds 98 MPH and is not legal for play.
