Louisville Slugger Slowpitch Z-2000 Features - New for 2013

Louisville Slugger is back with their popular Z series slowpitch bats. Now the Z2000 will continue to raise the bar that the Z1000 set for slowpitch softball bats. Now with even thinner, lighter weight fibers, the barrel will now allow for more overall strength while reducing the thickness of the barrel. Expect better feel, performance, and life span with the New Z2000 Slowpitch models.

Louisville Slugger's iST joins the barrel and handle together and allows for maximum stiffness while still providing an excellent solid feel and massive sweet spot. The iST technology allows player to have a solid feel between the barrel and handle while still allowing for maximum performance even on inside hits.

Louisville Slugger's S1iD technology allows the barrel to flex to its maximum allowable performance fresh out of the wrapper. No more "break-in" period with this model due to the inner disc found inside the barrel. These inner discs allow the barrel to flex at the sweet spot, but stop the barrel from flexing past the allowable limit. Also, these inner disc allow for increased performance along the length of the barrel providing a much more forgiving bat with a large sweet spot.

The LS-2X composite material has been designed to be thinner, higher strength, and has a lightweight graphite fiber design. The thinner walls allow for more layers increasing performance while still allowing for an increase in the durability of the composite weave.
