Senior League Baseball Bats
When baseball players can begin to use Big Barrel bats it is really fun. The larger barrel diameter bats (both 2 5/8 inch and 2 ¾ inch) are easier to hit the ball squarely and the ball travels further making hitting exciting. Different leagues allow using Senior League Baseball Bats (or Big Barrel bats as they are sometimes referred to) at different ages. If playing Little League, this doesn’t happen until the age of 13 in Jr. Baseball. Other Leagues however can begin using Senior League bats as young as age 6. It is important to know your league baseball bat rules before making a purchase to make sure you get a legal bat for your league. You need to find out the maximum barrel diameter your league allows and whether or not they can use composite bats, or if they are limited to bats with aluminum barrels.
